Privacy Policy

tooly.to ("tooly", "we") is operated by an individual publisher. This policy explains what data the site handles. The short version: almost none.
Files you process
Every tool on tooly runs inside your browser. Files you drop into a tool are read and processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers, unless you are a Premium subscriber and explicitly choose server processing for a file. In that case:
- the file is transferred over HTTPS to our server solely to run the requested operation;
- the input file is deleted as soon as processing finishes, and the result is deleted within one hour;
- we do not open, analyse, index or back up the content of your files.
Analytics
We use a self-hosted instance of Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint devices and does not track you across sites. It records the page visited, referrer, browser and country derived from an anonymised IP address. The data stays on our own server and is not shared with third parties.
Accounts
Creating an account requires only an email address, used to send you sign-in links. We do not store passwords. Sign-in emails are delivered by Resend. Your session is kept in a cookie named tooly_session, which is strictly necessary for the service to work.
Payments
Premium subscriptions are sold by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Paddle collects payment details and billing information under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address, subscription status and a customer identifier — never card numbers.
Advertising
Free pages may show advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to personalise ads; you can opt out at adssettings.google.com. Premium subscribers see no ads.
Your rights
You can request a copy or deletion of the data associated with your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. Deleting your account removes your email, sessions and job history.
