Which formats can I compare?

Do the images need to be the same size?
They are shown at the same width so the slider lines up. Comparing images of different dimensions works, but the overlay will not align pixel for pixel.
Are the images uploaded?
No. They are read straight from your device and never sent anywhere.
Does it highlight the differences automatically?
Not yet — this is a visual comparison. Your eyes are better at spotting compression artefacts than a difference map is at explaining them.
