How are words counted?
A word is any run of letters or digits, including hyphenated forms like well-known and contractions like don't. Punctuation alone does not count.
How is reading time calculated?
At an average adult silent reading speed of about 238 words per minute; speaking time uses 150 words per minute.
Does it work with non-Latin text?
Yes. Cyrillic, Polish diacritics, accents and emoji are all counted correctly as Unicode characters.
Is my text stored anywhere?
