FAQ
Why does it open a print dialog?
Browser-based Word-to-PDF conversion works best through the built-in print-to-PDF feature. This gives the highest quality output without any server processing.
What about .doc files?
Only .docx (Office Open XML) is supported. Older .doc files need to be converted to .docx first in Word or LibreOffice.
Will complex formatting be preserved?
Most text formatting, tables, and images are preserved. Some advanced features like SmartArt or embedded macros may not render perfectly.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The document is rendered entirely in your browser using docx-preview. Nothing is sent over the network.
