FAQ
Are my files uploaded?
No. FFmpeg runs in your browser as WebAssembly. Files never leave your device.
Which quality settings are used?
MP3 at 192 kbps, M4A (AAC) at 192 kbps, OGG Vorbis quality 5, WAV 16-bit PCM and FLAC lossless.
Will converting improve quality?
No. Converting a lossy file (MP3) to WAV or FLAC does not restore lost detail — it only makes the file larger.
Is there a size limit?
Up to 256 MB per file. The first run downloads the FFmpeg engine (~30 MB, cached afterwards).
