Is my photo uploaded?

No. The metadata is parsed by JavaScript in your browser. Nothing is sent over the network.

Why does my photo have no EXIF data?

Messaging apps and social networks strip metadata on upload, and screenshots never had any. Original camera files usually have it.

Can I see where a photo was taken?

If the camera stored GPS coordinates, the tool shows them and links to the location on OpenStreetMap.

How do I remove this data?
