Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Cropping runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Nothing is sent over the network.
Which ratios are available?
Original, 1:1 (Instagram, avatars), 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 (YouTube, covers) and 9:16 (Stories, Reels).
Does cropping lose quality?
The selected area is copied pixel for pixel. PNG stays lossless; JPG and WebP are re-encoded at 92% quality, which is visually identical.
Which format is the result?
The same as the input: JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG, WebP stays WebP. Transparency is preserved.
Can I crop several images at once?
This tool works on one image at a time so you can position the frame precisely. Use Resize image for batch operations.
