FAQ
Is my image uploaded?
No. The code is decoded in your browser; the image never leaves your device.
Why does it not open links automatically?
Because QR codes are a common way to slip someone a phishing link. You see the full address first and decide whether to open it.
What kinds of codes can it read?
Standard QR codes with links, plain text, Wi-Fi credentials, email addresses, phone numbers and contact cards. For Wi-Fi it shows the network name and password separately.
It says no code was found — why?
The code may be too small, blurred, cut off or photographed at a steep angle. Crop the image around the code, or take a straighter, sharper photo.
Can I make a QR code too?
Yes — use the QR code generator.
